Nova Scotia - Lunenburg

Like Mahone Bay, Lunenburg is another picturesque port town on the south shore of Nova Scotia. Founded in 1753, its old town is so chock-full of historical buildings that it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As admirers of old buildings, we of course loved it. So here are about a thousand pictures of some cool old buildings.

St. John's Anglican Church. Gutted by a fire in 2001, it was rebuilt with help from the local ship building community.

Beautiful woodwork in the church's interior.
