Alaska - Juneau
Juneau is the only state capital that cannot be reached by
car. If you want to visit you have to do so via boat or plane. Lucky for us we
happened to be on a ship, and Juneau was our second port of call. It is really quite
a nice town, at least from what we saw of it. But we spent most of our day there viewing
the nearby Mendenhall Glacier and walking the trails around it. Deborah's fitbit confirmed that we covered enough miles to justify the consumption of mass quantities of food upon our return to the ship.
