Singapore - Chinatown

With three quarters of the population ethnic Chinese, you could argue that all of Singapore is Chinatown, but there is actually a district that is more Chinese than the rest. Here are some pics:

Not so Nice Nice Food: Durian, also known as the corpse fruit for its, shall we say, unusual odor. Deborah absolutely reviles these and can smell them a block away. Hard to escape them in Chinatown though.

The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, which supposedly houses the left canine tooth of Buddha. It's not just Christians who build houses of worship around the body parts of deceased holy men.
