Bali - Lake Beratan
Lake
Beratan is one in a series of upland lakes in the north of the island and the
home to a beautiful water temple. At an elevation of about 1200 m (4000 ft) it
was noticeably cooler and rainier than our base in Ubud – although we’re still talking 20s ᵒC (70s ᵒF).
Kind of refreshing really.

I don't know why the grounds were filled with these animal figures, but Deborah makes the most of it.
The colorful head scarves of these tourists complements the colorful flowers.

Impressive banyan; whatever large tree it enveloped is long gone.
